We got to tour the Norfolk Harbor & Shipyards on a three master schooner called the American Rover. It was cold and windy but an awesome experience and worth every moment! We were grateful for the lower deck to which we could retreat and warm up with a cup of coffee!

After our harbor cruise we enjoyed a delicious supper at Freemason Abbey ,which is a cool 136-year old renovated church in downtown Norfolk. Dan ventured into new territory by eating ostrich for the first time and tried some Swordfish. Laura got a rose for her birthday and Mom & Dad sent both of us couples home with a glass from there.
